Thereafter, the latter lessons contain the advanced ear training lessons that reinforce and polish up your Relative Pitch ability.

Our Review:

We found the lessons to be very well structured and organized, making it very easy for people to follow. David Lucas Burge organises the lessons in a very logical flow and is very clear in his explainations of the lessons. The course starts out on a slower note to ensure that proper ear training foundations are built before moving into full gear towards the later lessons.

What we really like were the ear training exercises. They are challenging enough to simulate our ears and yet s imple enough such that we could figure them out. This made us feel like we had accomplished a great deal after each exercise and kept us  very motivated through the entire course.

In short, the lessons are a clear *Winner*.

Furthermore, we were absolutely impressed by how the Relative Pitch exercises in the lessons would cater to anyone. This had made the Relative Pitch Super Course suitable for musicians of ANY levels playing ANY instruments.

Aftersales support was one of our key selection criteria as you might run into questions or problems during the course. After we purchased the course, we deliberately tested the Relative Pitch support by sending them emails regarding the course material. Pure Pitch Methods is a relatively new course that was introduced in early 2008. This course combines both relative pitch and perfect pitch training together.
 

An overview of the lessons expected: 

Ryan Cameron's course is based on an innovative method of Audiation. In this approach, perfect pitch is developed by using relative pitch as a platform to train our ears.

Pure Pitch Method is divided into 39 lessons with each lesson leading on to the next. Inside every individual lesson are practice exercises and quizzes in mp3 formats.

Our Review:

When we started reviewing Pure Pitch, we found that basic knowledge of music theory (intervals) is required in order to fully comprehend the Pure Pitch lessons. Don't worry, there is a section in the handbook which covers intervals in  great detail.

On the whole, the course is structured in a straight forward and easy to understand manner. Simply do the exercises, follow instructions in the detailed course handbook and reap results.

Throughout the course review, we enjoyed ourselves immensely  as we experienced consistent improvements to our aural skills.

After we purchased the course, we had also deliberately tested  Pure Pitch's email support on using the course material. Our emails took an average of about 2-3 days to be replied. We feel that this email response was acceptable for any decent online business. More importantly, should you run into any problems with the course, help is readily available.
